At Woodside, we are aware of the important part that digital technology plays in our lives. Everyday, both at home and at school, we use it to help us learn and play. While there are huge benefits to being online, it is important to be aware that any time children use the internet, they do face some potential risks. We are aware of the importance of teaching all of our children how to be safe and responsible digital citizens, who make informed decisions about their actions online. As well as receiving several lessons each year specific to staying safe online, regular discussions are held in classes along with a termly collective worship centred on current issues.
